Is there one you would recommend over others?Ĭode: Select all griggs:~$ sudo inxi -Fxzd I am even fairly adept with building from GitHub if there aren't too many missing dependencies. I'm handy with the terminal so I am not gun shy about installing things from there.

Kaffeine appears to be a little easier to install and configure which is why I would choose to use it. I am therefore looking for a recommendation on a USB TV Tuner card that folks have had success with using either MythTV or Kaffeine.
#Wintv hvr 850 usb driver
The device is recognized which is positive, but no driver found (at least in my searches).

The AverMedia USB TV tuner I have (Hybrid Volar MAX) doesn't appear to have a Linux driver of any sort that I can find. We have a line of sight to the broadcast antennas so for most channels we get amazing reception.
#Wintv hvr 850 usb windows 7
I switched from Windows 7 (Media Center on a NUC) to Mint 20 hoping to use Kaffeine to record some OTA shows via digital antenna.
